Three ways to book your beard

From a five-minute tidy-up to the full ritual — each service ends with defined lines and a moisturised finish.

Which one you want usually comes down to how long it has been. A shape-up holds an existing outline; a signature service resets it properly; a clean shave takes it back to nothing. If you are not sure, say roughly how long since the last one when you book and we will bring the right setup either way.

Keeping the line between visits

A beard loses its shape from the edges inward. The cheek line and the neck line blur first, and once they go, the whole beard reads untidy even when the length is fine. That is why most men end up booking on a shorter cycle than they expect — the length is not the problem, the outline is.

Growing one out is the exception. If you are trying to add length, the useful thing is to hold the neck and cheek lines and leave the body alone, rather than skipping appointments entirely and losing the shape. Tell the stylist what you are aiming for and the trim can be planned around it instead of against it.

Beard colour

Beard dye is on the menu alongside hair colour, and it is one of the more common add-ons to a trim — greys through the chin and moustache tend to show long before the hair does. It is done at the same visit, after the shape work, so the line is set before any colour goes on.

Pair it with a cut

Most beard clients book a combination: Classic Cut + Beard, Skin Fade + Beard or Taper Fade + Beard. One visit, one setup, complete refresh — see the combos on the main services menu.

Booked together they also sit better than booked apart, because the beard can be shaped against the finished cut rather than guessed at. If you want both, say 'combo' when you message and we will allow the time for it.

The case for a shave at home

A proper shave is the least portable-looking service a barber does — hot lather, blade work, towel finish. It turns out it travels perfectly: the stylist brings every tool of the ritual to your bathroom mirror or hotel room, and you walk straight from the chair to your evening.

The setup needs very little from you: a power socket, a hard floor area and, ideally, a mirror. A bathroom or kitchen space is perfect. Everything is cleared and the room is left as it was found.

It is also why the service suits occasions. A shave the morning of a wedding, or before a meeting you flew in for, is far easier to arrange in your own room than to fit around a shop's booking sheet.
